I look to the world around me, explorations in my travels, dreams and unconscious thoughts to inspire my paintings. I love the medium of watercolor because much like life, watercolors can be nebulous and crystal clear; Beautifully spontaneous and flowing in some places, where the colors and shapes run into each other and finely detailed and controlled in others.
